New Jersey Pride awards are given annually in various categories to individuals who have made contributions to the state beyond what would be expected as a result of their professional of their circumstances. The winners are chosen by panel of judges selected by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, and will be announced this year on May 12 at a special awards dinner. The proceeds from the annual awards dinners go to various New Jersey charities or non-profit service organizations.

Past New Jersey Pride winners have included government officials, business leaders, entertainers and athletes, as well as individuals of less celebrity whose singular achievements have made New Jersey a better place.
